UNDER SEA NURSERY - Fresno, CA

The perfect nursery should be soothing, functional, and safe. Other than that it all depends on the theme of the room. This room was designed to fit either a boy or a girl. The client's modern taste was mixed with a small ammount of traditional and a little bit of whimsy to create this seriene yet fun space. The traditional crib and dresser were existing and contrast nicely with the new white modern furniture. Above the crib we hung a white gauze canopy with the mobile hung inside. This gives the space a lot more dimension and creates a focal point for the crib. Storage boxes under the crib give the client lots of storage space for blankets and toys. The bookshelves also serve as extra storage as well as display space.
