KNEVELBAARD KITCHEN REMODEL - Hanford, CA

The Knevelbaard's live on a dairy ranch in Hanford, CA. Their home is well kept and expansive, yet their kitchen needed an update. The existing kitchen was dark, awkwardly shaped, closed in feeling, and out of date. They also wanted to open up the space a little to their sunroom where most meals are served. In this photo you can see the before picture of their kitchen. The center island was small and cluttered. The right peninsula was awkwardly angled and made it hard to access the sunroom without going all the way around it. The cabinetry above the peninsula made the space feel very closed off from the living room. The cabinetry, countertops, and flooring were all shades of brown making the room seem very dark and small.
